In 2020 I lost one of my heroes, the reason I play guitar. Not only was Eddie the most revolutionary guitarist since Jimi Hendrix, he was also the most underrated rhythm guitarist of all time.
In my tribute painting I wanted to get in as many of his trademarks as possible; the Frankenstrat, the Van Halen logo, the infectious grin, and for the guitarists amongst you, the 12/15/19
fret stretch. 😎
